Kim Hobson, M.A. is an audiologist providing hearing aids, hearing tests, and other audiology services in North Carolina.

Originally from Clyde, a small mountain town west of Asheville, NC, she earned a B.S. in Communication Disorders from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC, and an M.A. in Audiology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN. With 22 years of experience in a medical ear, nose, and throat practice in Winston-Salem, she has extensive expertise in medical audiology.

She transitioned into private practice in 2023 to focus more on her specialty, meeting the needs of people with permanent hearing loss.

Providing the best audiology and hearing care to her patients is very important. I believe this is best accomplished by being a listener, an encourager, and demonstrating kindness. I feel that these qualities are as meaningful as programming hearing aids properly. As a Christian, I feel called to look like Jesus in all aspects of life, which carries into my work with my patients and coworkers.

Me and my husband have been happily married for 18 years and have one high-school-aged son. We share their home with two fur babies, a black lab and a Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu mix. We are active members of Center Grove Church. In her spare time, I enjoy quality time with family and friends, group exercise, and exploring new places or activities.
