Scott Mills, Au.D. is an audiologist providing hearing aids, hearing tests, and other audiology services in North Carolina.
I am originally from Maryland and spent much time in both Maryland and my family’s home in Arkansas.
I earned the Doctor of Audiology from the University of Florida, School of Health Sciences, after obtaining a Master of Audiology degree from the University of Tennessee. My college career started at Harding University, a Christian college in Searcy, Arkansas, where I obtained a bachelor’s degree and, most importantly, a life focus of service to others.
As an audiologist, I worked the first half of my career in medical audiology, in specialty ear surgery practices in the area. I then transitioned into my own practice, opening Carolina Hearing Doctors in 2007.
Interests
Having lived in Forsyth County for 40 years, we are engaged with our local church, where I serve as a shepherd and also as a board member for Carolina Bible Camp in Mocksville. We have remained engaged with our alma mater, having served on the Advisory Board for the College of Allied Health and also the President’s Council at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.
I participate in long-distance swimming events and enjoy outdoor activities like kayaking and fishing. For many years I have worked on my pitmaster skills making traditionally smoked North Carolina barbecue (is there any other?), and then gathering people together to enjoy it. Lastly, I really enjoy music and classic cars!
